I have been publicly speaking and teaching in various settings since 1998 when I was twelve years old. I graduated from LMBIS in Minden, Louisiana with a Master's in Theology, Middle English, Koine Greek, and Masoretic Hebrew in 2009. I later received a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from LSUS, Shreveport, Louisiana. I began teaching 7th-12th grade English at Ashley Christian Academy in Crossett, Arkansas in 2010. I moved back to my hometown, Bossier City, Louisiana, in 2012. I have been teaching English to students in China via online webcast with VIPkid International beginning in 2017. I have been certified in secondary education of Science and English by the state of Louisiana. This will be my second year at Youree Drive Middle School, and I am excited about this 2018-2019 school year.

Josiah (age 9) and Annagrace (age 8) are the reasons I work. Like the parents of our students, I know what it is like to have kids in the public school system. I do my best to make learning fun and helpful in the way I want my kids' teachers to do.
